| Plastic Moulding |
Calcom's plastic injection moulding unit was setup in 1985. This unit manufactures high quality plastic components required for its final products. The plant is equipped with ten injection Moulding machines ranging from 95 tonnes to 600 tonnes. A tool room for development and maintenance of injection moulds and a paint shop are also a part of this unit.
Calcom's injection moulding unit, besides supplying plastic components to other business units of calcom, also moulds plastic components used in automobiles, washing machines, electrical components, energy meters, audio products, electronic components, packaging and various other products.
Calcom's list of clients for injection moulding components have included companies such as General Motors, Samsung, Yamaha, LG, Onida Savak Ltd., Delphi Automotive Ltd., Spack Automotive Ltd. to name a few. |
